We love to read our daughters' blogs. They actually help us keep up with them, and the pictures are fun--we can go back to them whenever we want. And the best part is seeing our granddaughter, Anna-Jane, who lives far away in Colorado. Between the web-cam visits and blogs, we feel a bit closer than just by phone. So, since we enjoy their blogs, we've decided to try blogging, too.

Spring Visit and New Expectations!

Bree and Kyle are expecting again--we will welcome Grandbaby #2 in November! We are SO excited! This one (Kyle is calling it Han Solo till we know the gender!) will be almost exactly 2 years younger than Anna-Jane. You can see 'pictures' at http://www.leonardfamilyblog.blogspot.com/. Last time, Bree had a labor alert, and I jumped on a plane to be there, but it was a false alarm, so I got to be there for a few days before she gave birth; we had some sweet family time before everything changed forever (a sweet change!). It was awesome to be there when she gave birth, at home, in their bathtub, with their midwife. That was such a sweet gift--never thought it would be possible to get to Colorado in time. Thank you, Lord!

Here a few photos from Bree and Anna-Jane's visit to see us this spring. Of course we took bluebonnet pictures (and of course, Bree's are on her blog and are beautiful), and we had a visit to the zoo. I had to leave early, but got a good one of Robin and Anna-Jane.

But so cute when it's all done!
Sometimes just relaxing at home is wonderful....
