We love to read our daughters' blogs. They actually help us keep up with them, and the pictures are fun--we can go back to them whenever we want. And the best part is seeing our granddaughter, Anna-Jane, who lives far away in Colorado. Between the web-cam visits and blogs, we feel a bit closer than just by phone. So, since we enjoy their blogs, we've decided to try blogging, too.

Anna-Jane also means "Amazing Joy" to me...

Trying to crawl out of the stroller...

Anna-Jane, Bibi and Bree at Laurie's

Laurie and Bibi--sometimes the asleep times are the easiest times to cuddle this busy one...

Grandparenting is a pretty apt word to describe something very, very grand. When our first grandchild, Anna-Jane, was born last November, I remember feeling so grateful to God for such a precious gift, not only that she was healthy, not only that her mama had a blessedly short labor, but also that I got to be with them when she was born! I see photos of our littlest member of the family and am so amazed that she has grown so much in this year of breakneck speed development. I got to visit Bree, Kyle and Anna-Jane last week and brought back a bunch of pictures (still in the camera). As I look at them--Bree took some of them of Anna-Jane and me--the pictures show a joyful grandma ("Bibi") trying unsuccessfully to grasp a busy toddler! I'll try to post some, but this grandma is not so blog-savvy. Again, I'm so grateful for the time to visit--time off from work, miles given by my sweet cousin, Laurie, and views of Colorado mountains--what a week!
