We love to read our daughters' blogs. They actually help us keep up with them, and the pictures are fun--we can go back to them whenever we want. And the best part is seeing our granddaughter, Anna-Jane, who lives far away in Colorado. Between the web-cam visits and blogs, we feel a bit closer than just by phone. So, since we enjoy their blogs, we've decided to try blogging, too.

Grandparenting is Glorious

I'm leaving Saturday to go to Colorado, hopefully before our 2nd grandbaby's birth; Judah is due Saturday! I'm leaving a house full of partially painted rooms, bedrooms with concrete floors, and nothing yet ordered--we're still waiting on insurance, adjusters, etc. I spoke with another woman today whose water heater busted 2 weeks after the warranty expired, and her house was flooded--water running out their doors when they got home--aggghhh--maybe that is worse than ours, I think, but who knows? It took them 3 months to get everything worked out, so maybe these things take a little time to iron themselves out. Larry will stay here to supervise and paint--he's sore from painting, but very motivated!

Can't wait to meet Baby Judah and can't wait to see Bree, Kyle, and Anna-Jane. And of course my sweet cousins Laurie, Gary, Melanie and Brian, who are our kids' Colorado parents. We are so thankful for them.
