We love to read our daughters' blogs. They actually help us keep up with them, and the pictures are fun--we can go back to them whenever we want. And the best part is seeing our granddaughter, Anna-Jane, who lives far away in Colorado. Between the web-cam visits and blogs, we feel a bit closer than just by phone. So, since we enjoy their blogs, we've decided to try blogging, too.

Amanda's Rehearsal Dinner

Amanda got married this past weekend--the rain, which has been a current part of each day for at least a week, stopped all day Saturday and the ground dried up enough to un-muddy the grounds where the wedding was held. It was at Ruby Caroline, a private open area between McGregor and Gatesville. Unique, peaceful, rustic place, with a little stream, BEAUTIFUL bride, handsome groom, super food, sweet ceremony, fun band, great company with family and friends--it was a terrific evening. I forgot my camera that night, SO, I tried using the cell phone, BUT I can't seem to retrieve them. Will keep working on it.

In the meantime, I DID take some shots at the rehearsal dinner, which was at The Main Place in McGregor--never been there and it was really nice. George's catered it. Here's the goofy part--I never got a pic of the bride and groom--geez!
